FALL CHOIR CONCERT

Thursday, Nov. 20

7:00 pm

Performing Arts Center

The China Spring Choirs will have their Fall Concert on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 7:00 in the PAC on the middle school campus. Attendance at this performance is not optional. This concert will count as the final exam grade in this class. Please note the following information:

* All singers must be in the choir room on the middle school campus at 6:40 pm to warm-up for the concert. Every minute late will be a deduction on their final exam grade.

* All singers must be in complete uniform. Your singer (high school and middle school) will be issued a notice when they are given their uniform that explains the uniform requirements. You will need to sign that notice and have your singer bring it back to school. Non-compliance with the rules for uniforms at concert time will result in a deduction on the final exam grade.

* Singers in uniform will not be served the spaghetti meal before the concert. If they are eating they will need to bring their uniform with them and change into it before 6:40.

* All students must remain for the entire concert. I have talked to the kids about appropriate concert etiquette. They know it is disrespectful to act in the concert hall like one acts at a football game. Also they understand that it is rude to leave before the performance is over in order to enjoy the hard work of the other choirs and to learn from them.   Thank you for adding your affirmation to these rules of concert etiquette.

I am looking forward to a good concert. (It will probably not even last an hour.)

I hope you will take advantage of the Booster's catered meal from Fazolli's and then come into the PAC and enjoy the concert.

Just a reminder: The Community Christmas Carol Festival is going to be Sunday, Dec. 14. The high school choirs will perform at this spectacular event again this year. The Waco Jazz Orchestra will be the special guest artists for the evening. I hope you and your family will plan on going to that evening of Christmas song and dance.

FYI:   POINSETTIAS ARRIVE ON WEDNESDAY, DEC. 3
