There are two choirs at China Spring Middle School; one for guys and one for girls. Each choir is made up of both 7th and 8th graders. Through the years both choirs have consistently won a Sweepstakes trophy at UIL Concert/Sightreading Contest as well as top awards at out-of-town competition. They also have several members each year that are selected for the TMEA Middle School All-Region Choir.
CONGRATULATIONS TO GILRS CHOIR UIL SWEEPSTAKES TROPHY On Thursday, March 25, the Middle School Girls Choir travelled to Shoemaker High School in Killeen to participate in UIL Concert/Sightreading competition. There they were awarded a Sweepstakes trophy, which they earned by receiving a #1 rating on stage and in the sightreading room. This is the ninth year that choir has participated in the UIL competition and each year they have come home with a Sweepstakes trophy.
